For the past 11 years, I have been in L&D. When I started out freelancing, I was happy to take on a little work here and there for a friend.
Then I realized - “This could be my thing - I could be my own boss, pick projects I wanted to work on and have flexible hours to support a family.” So then I went out searching for new clients and additional work — it was overwhelming. I felt I had no idea where to start or what to do…and I had no one who could guide me!

Before we move on, let’s be clear on a few things…

My program is for…

L&D professionals who “accidentally” found them selves in the field or always knew they wanted to be in L&D
Students who are ready to take their degree or certificate in learning & development, instructional design, eLearning, etc. and put it to actual use
People who have a foundational knowledge of what instructional design is and basic concepts of eLearning development (don’t worry if you don’t know how to use the tool though!)
People who are tired of piecing together a plan via LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, articles, books, etc. and want someone who is working in the field to give them a blueprint they can put to work
People ready to hustle - ready to accept feedback - and ready to achieve their goals!

My program is not for…

Someone completely new to the field and looking for a full course in instructional design - we will talk about ID and certainly the components, trends, etc. but I am not going to give full lessons on theories and adult learning principles
Someone looking for how to use a rapid authoring tool - but I will be giving you a ton of tips/tricks, can help troubleshoot and brainstorm
Someone who is not going to be real with themselves and what they actually want
Someone who is not ready to put in the work it takes to get yourself past wannabe and become a paid professional

So what comes with a 1:1 Coaching Package?

Regularly Scheduled Sessions

Each package comes with 3 months of 1:1 coaching, 2 times per month. Each call is recorded and yours to keep to access anytime, anywhere. They are an hour long with the only exception being our very first one- our Kickoff Call (1.5 hr). The Kickoff is where we get to know more about each other, your goals, and start building your business vision.

Accountability

Listen mentors are a great thing. I have/had many in my career and life. However, mentors are not here to check in on you, and keep you accountable to what you say you want to achieve. That’s where a coach like me comes in. Coaches are here to give more direct guidance and feedback, as well as that kick in the butt you may need from time to time to achieve your goals.

During our sessions we will come up with 3 goals for our 3 months together, to do lists, tasks, next steps, etc. I will create a Trello board that is yours to keep and we will track your progress over those 3 months.

Tips, Tricks and Templates to Grow Your Business

I will provide you with my templates for things like my resume, cover letter, sales proposal, etc. so you don’t need to reinvent the wheel and hit the ground running. I will also give you my tips and tricks to showcase your brand, build a portfolio that coverts, and seal the deal!

A Community

We are all in this together. Through the coaching program, you will have unlimited message and voice Slack support so we can chat about any and all things related to your L&D journey, life, etc. As well as unlimited feedback and audits on anything related to your business including but not limited to your resume, portfolio pieces, website copy, sales proposals, pitches, etc.
